Call for Papers
Commission Directorate General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology (DG CONNECT), the European Union Agency for Network and Information Security (ENISA) and, as local host, the Systems Security Laboratory (SSL) of the University of Piraeus organizes a two day event with the objective to provide a forum to academia, industry and policy makers in the field of privacy technology and legislation. For the scientific track of the event, the PC of the APF calls for original papers.

- Privacy by policy
- Privacy models
- Privacy-enhanced access control or authentication/certification
- Privacy Friendly Biometrics
- Privacy-friendly payment mechanisms for PETs and other services
- Privacy in Online Social Networks
- Privacy policy languages and tools
- Pseudonyms, anonymization, identity management, link ability, and reputation
- Reliability, robustness and abuse prevention in privacy systems
- Traffic analysis
- Transparency enhancing tools
- Usability issues and user interfaces for PETs
Instructions for paper submission
All submissions should be up to 16 pages, excluding bibliography and appendices. Shorter submissions are encouraged. PC members are not required to read the appendices, so the paper should be self-contained and intelligible without them. Submissions must be written in English and need to comply with the Springer LNCS style guide. Authors are recommended to use from the beginning the instructions provide on the Springer website:

The paper should start with the title and an abstract. The introduction should give some background and summarize the contributions of the paper at a level appropriate for a non-specialist reader. Authors must submit their papers by the deadline indicated on the conference web site (www.privacyforum.eu) and following the requirements stated there. Accepted papers will be published in Springer’s LNCS series. All deadlines are firm.
